FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA – Sycamore Reserve, a new upscale independent senior living community, is coming to the northeast side of Indianapolis, scheduled to open in late-Summer, 2019. "I am very excited to announce that we have begun construction of Sycamore Reserve," states CEO Alan Symons.
Alan Symons' first property, Bartlett Reserve, opened five years ago in Durham, North Carolina. Bartlett has been very successful. Not only has it reached 100% occupancy, but it has also received several important awards, including the "Number One Independent Senior Living Community" in the Durham area. Symons is creating that same standard for his residents in Indianapolis.
Located on approximately 8 acres at 8275 Craig Street, just east of Castleton Square Mall, Sycamore Reserve will feature 97 luxurious suites in a 100,000 sq. ft. building. Located close to shopping, dining, entertainment and medical centers, the community has easy access to major streets and highways.
Each suite will feature beautiful finishes including marble and stone, kitchenettes with stainless steel appliances, walk-in California-style closets, washer and dryer hook-ups, easy access large bathrooms and much more. State-of-the-art technology will focus on health, safe living and communication. Construction and services will follow ecofriendly guidelines and practices, including the use of electronic vehicles for transportation. The latest in emergency notification that will detect trip and fall events will also be available.
"We are intentionally providing a framework of programs and services that will allow our residents to healthfully age while having the time of their life," said Symons. "Residents can sit in our dining room and observe their delicious, gourmet meals being created in an open kitchen by our award-winning chef. More than 100 varied activities will be offered each week. Swimming, fishing, putting, bocce ball, gardening, exercising, movies, poker, music, TED classes, board games, university-level classes, religious services and more will be available within our community."
The Community will employ seasoned personnel in the areas of activities and programs, dietary and culinary services, maintenance and housekeeping, resident services and transportation. Susan Albers, M.S., RCA has been hired as its Executive Director. She brings more than eighteen years' senior living management experience and is excited about this new venture. "Our seniors deserve the very best and we intend to provide that and more," she said. "We are thinking out of the box and providing a new look for senior living. Our seniors will experience living that is healthy, ecofriendly and FUN! We will be partnering with the best service providers to make our residents' experiences unique and fulfilling. Age is just a number and we want each person living with us to have the experience of a lifetime," she said.
Sycamore Reserve is now taking reservations for its suites, which will range from studios to one- and two-bedroom apartments reach up to 1,150 sq. ft. Monthly rates will range from $2,495 to $5,995. "We are very excited about bringing our award-winning senior living concept to greater Indianapolis," states Symons. There are some special incentives, such as locked rent rates, available for those who want to secure their apartment early.
Lead architect is Jack Hollingsworth, Array Architecture. CPM Construction, Planning and Management is the general contractor. Terri Symons of Coach House Design will serve as the project's interior designer and has chosen lovely finishes and furnishings. First Financial Bank is providing financing.
